Dec 24, 2019  Hi, when apple upgraded HFS+ to APFS, macOS startup disk was not showing on windows 10 bootcamp Control Panel. This last until recently when a bootcamp Control Panel on windows 10 pops up an update. I have applied this update on iMac and MBP. MacOS startup disk is now showing. May 20, 2015 I have a same problem. Successfully installed windows via Bootcamp. After reboot I can see Mac and Windows both but when I am running startup disk in Mac Its not showing Bootcamp Partition. However in Disk utility its showing Mac and Windows both partitions. What should I do next?

• Mar 24, 2020 Use Disk Utility to repair your startup disk. If Disk Utility found no errors or repaired all errors, try again to use Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows. If Boot Camp Assistant still gives the partitioning error, continue to the steps below.

Mac Startup Disk Boot Camp Missing

You can set the default operating system to either macOS or Windows. The default operating system is the one you want to use when you turn on or restart your Mac.

Set the default operating system

1. In Windows on your Mac, click in the right side of the taskbar, click the Boot Camp icon , then choose Boot Camp Control Panel.

2. If a User Account Control dialog appears, click Yes.

3. Select the startup disk that has the default operating system you want to use.

4. If you want to start up using the default operating system now, click Restart. Otherwise, click OK.

You can’t change your startup volume to an external FireWire or USB drive while you’re using Windows.

In Windows on your Mac, do one of the following:
